Current Positions
Mr Solomon Lechesa Tsenoli was the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly of the Republic of South Africa from 21 May 2014 and was re-appointed on 22 May 2019.
Mr Tsenoli was the Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs of the Republic of South Africa.
Academic Qualifications
Mr Tsenoli attended a programme of instruction for Lawyers at Harvard University and obtained a Certificate in Public Policy Management from the University of Western Cape.
He holds a Certificate in adult Education from University of KwaZulu-Natal. He has a Certificate in Development Planning for Community Leaders from the University of the Witwatersrands.

He was a member of the following Organisations: Institutte of Local government; National Housing corporation; and Transitional National Development Trust.
Mr Tsenoli also served as a member of Joint Rent Action Committee in 1983; and as a member of Masibonesane Lamontville Youth Organisation in 1981. He was founder member of Sanco and as a member of Durban Civic Forum.
He was Deputy Minister for Rural Development and Land Reform of the Republic of South Africa from 2011 until 09-July 2013.
